Expire user passwords without resetting
Posted by on 25 January 2018 09:10 AM
To set a company's passwords to expire, forcing the users to reset the passwords themselves:

Connect to the company's portal in MS Azure AD module for PowerShell using a global admin account and import a session

https://technet.microsoft.com/library/jj984289(v=exchg.160).aspx

Once the session is open run the following:

Connect-MsolService

Get-MsolUser -All Set-MsolUserPassword -ForceChangePasswordOnly $true -ForceChangePassword $true

The window should tab down a few lines but not return anything.
